Nicola Penna’s Future Jazz Ensemble releases great new electronic-jazz EP on Ten Lovers Music
Future Jazz Ensemble, which is the innovative solo work of Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer Nicola Penna (aka Nasty Boy), has just released a new outstanding electronic-meets-jazz EP for Ten Lovers Music, titled Rough Time.
Featuring four superb tracks, the record builds on the foundation of his last two now out-of-print self-released recordings, blending together electronic music and pulsating rhythmic beats with cosmic jazz tones and an array of ethnic-influenced sounds. As the name of the project suggests, this music has strong jazz roots, yet is looking to push the sound forward.
From start to finish, this is great new EP release that brilliantly melds together electronic produced music and futuristic jazz. Highly recommended!
