Lorenzo Morresi and Tenderlonious team up again, release another superb cosmic jazz 7inch
Following the success of 2020’s Cosmica Italiana single, Italian DJ, producer and musician Lorenzo Morresi teams up again with producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and 22a label boss, Ed ‘Tenderlonious’ Cawthorne on another brilliant new cosmic jazz 7inch single release, titled Acqua.
Limited to just 300 copies, “Acqua” blends together spiritual flute and saxophone melodies with spacey keys, arpeggiated synthesizers, drum-based percussion and electric beats. On the flip, “Tema Cinque” is a hypnotic electro ballad featuring drum machines, atmospheric tones and textures, and a soprano saxophone solo by Tenderlonious.
Moressi plays the bass, guitar, keys, and drum machines, while Tenderlonious plays the flute, saxophones, additional keys and vocals. Also featured on the recording is drummer Archelao Macrillo and keyboardist Emilio Merone.
With the release of now two incredible singles, the duo’s forthcoming full-length, which is planned for release later this year, is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated albums of 2022.
