I’m excited to announce a new monthly jazz-focused night, titled SPACE at the brand new Soul Provisions lounge in uptown Oakland. Each month, I will be spinning some of my favorite jazz records, and I will be joined by guest DJs, live jazz acts, and on occasion, vinyl vendors.

The first SPACE event kicks off this Thursday, and I am excited to be joined by the Bay Area’s DJ Flow. For the past 15 years, he has been making a name for himself on the West Coast as a DJ, producer, and through his hip-hop label At The Ave Records. Even though he has collected jazz records for years, this will be a rare opportunity to see him spin an exclusive jazz set live.

I hope to see everyone at the kickoff of SPACE this Thursday. My mission with this night is to make this monthly event a gathering spot for musicians, DJs, artists, music fans, and vinyl collectors to meet and spread the word on all the upcoming events and happenings in the Bay Area.
