Mukatsuku releases limited 12″ of Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra covering Kyoto Jazz Massive
Nik Weston’s superb Mukatsuku label kicks off the new year with a highly-anticipated limited-edition new twelve-inch single of Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra covering Kyoto Jazz Massive’s 2001 classic “Substream”.
Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra is made up of members of both Kyoto Jazz Massive and Jeroboam, who have released a couple of twelve-inch singles on the brilliant French label Space Grapes. Originally released on Shuya Okino’s CD/digital compilation Tokyo Crossover Night 2023, this incredible new version of the track blends together soulful disco grooves, jazz dance, and Brit-funk. On the flip, the single includes an unreleased instrumental version.
Limited to just 500 copies, and selling very quickly, this is the first must-own release of 2023!
