Two of London’s most forward-thinking artists in vocalist Fatima and keyboard wiz Joe Armon-Jones (who is also a founding member of Ezra Collective) have teamed up to release an incredible new EP, titled Tinted Shades.

Released on Armon-Jones’ Aquarii Records, this brilliant three track recording blends Fatima’s soulful vocals with Joe’s cosmic keys/synths, and head-nodding drum grooves from two of the best in Moses Boyd (on tracks “Tinted Shades” and “Love Life Hope”) and Morgan Simpson (on “#1”).

If the music wasn’t tasty enough, the first 200 copies receive an exclusive recipe card, featuring artwork by Ralph Berryman (who also did the cover art), and a recipe for Fatima and Joe’s own ‘Crispy Tinted Waffles’.

Packing a lot of punch in just three tracks, the EP is incredible from start to finish, with the opening track “#1” certainly in the running for best track of 2022. With such an impressive duo release, you can’t help but hope that their might be more future releases in the works. Highly recommended!
