The German-based cosmic jazz trio, named Triorität, have recently released a superb eight-track debut album, titled ALG0, on their own imprint label Ouvo.

This incredible new release, blends together spacey and hypnotic synths, with jazz-funk and fusion grooves, intergalactic atmospheric tones, and funky “head-nodding” percussion rhythms. This is definitely cosmic jazz music for the dancefloor. Fans of The Comet Is Coming, Vels Trio, Planet Battagon, and classic fusion groups like Weather Report, The Headhunters, and Azymuth should definitely check out this album.

Every year, it always feels like there are a handful of artists and records that are not on anyone’s radar, that end up breaking through to wider audiences and result in some of year’s best releases, and Triorität and their debut album certainly fall into that category. Already selling out quickly, I highly recommend picking up a copy of ALG0 as soon as you find one.
