Paul Murphy’s Jazz Room Records turns up the heat on the jazz dancefloor once again with their latest 7inch release, featuring two tracks from Southern California’s quintet Cozmos, who features two members of Jungle Fire (alto saxophonist Sam Robles & percussionist Steve Haney). The A-side features a brilliant new rendition of Sun Ra’s “Watusa”, while on the flip, the group does a funky take of the Charles Mingus composition “Meditations On Integration”.
